Whether you already have a body of work or you’re coming in with no personal art, this class will help you start making meaningful connections between your interests and your goals. Understanding what your “why” is will allow you to make smarter decisions about “what” and “how” you create.
Ideation: Working in your sketchbook, use words and drawings to mine through your ideas and make meaningful connections
Reference: How to select, take, and modify photographic reference to suit your vision
Surface Prep & Execution: Demos on how to prep multiple surfaces and various layering techniques
Finishing & Critique: Refinement, final touches, group discussion and feedback
